Scratches Hints

What, exactly, do I do with the piece of paper?

  • 1 of 11: The impressions on the paper were made by someone pressing fairly hard when writing on the page that covered it.
  • 2 of 11: You might be able to make out what had been written on the cover page, if you can find a way to contrast the impressions on the paper in a different color then the remainder of the paper.
  • 3 of 11: You could color, or shade, the paper gently to darken the background.
  • 4 of 11: A pencil would work.  Once you have the pencil, use it within the inventory to color the paper with markings.
  • 5 of 11: Hmm...  Seems the paper is written in Italian.  Perhaps you can get the paper translated into English.
  • 6 of 11: Someone you know might be able to help with that task.
  • 7 of 11: You could phone someone for help.
  • 8 of 11: Jerry won't know what to do, but perhaps someone else would.  A little exploring might yield some ideas of who to call.
  • 9 of 11: Perhaps your secretary, Barbara, would know what to do.
  • 10 of 11: You may need to call her two times before you can speak with her about the note in Italian.
  • 11 of 11: It seems you will need to mail the note to Barbara.
