The Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis Hints
Okay, so how can I get the surveyor to leave?
of 15: Well, I'll tell you right now -- you can't.
of 15: However, the Chinese guy can't see him. He can only see his car, over on the crossroads screen. If his car were gone, he would assume he'd taken it and left.
of 15: Go take a look at the area around the crossroads, and see how we might get the guy to move his car.
of 15: Now, it's a pretty weird one, I'm gonna be honest. It relates to that parking sign there, and one other sign in the area.
of 15: There's a rockfall sign near the surveyor. You need to switch that sign with the parking sign, then stage a phony rockfall so that the surveyor will move his car.
of 15: There's a tool you will already have in your inventory at this point which you can use to prize the signs off their respective posts.
of 15: It's the pocket-knife you found in the bag with the spirit level. Use that, then switch the two signs.
of 15: Now, we need to make it look like a rockslide has already occurred. Are there any rocks, or anything looking like rocks nearby?
of 15: Perhaps on the far opposite side of the screen to the car?
of 15: Near that Lazare Construction sign?
of 15: Take the model rock off the sign (there's no need to use your knife), and place it in the car next to the surveyor's one -- the broken one.
of 15: Now, let's go tell the surveyor what's going on.
of 15: Hmm, seems he's all-too-trusting in his horoscope and superstition, and he's convinced his car won't be harmed.
of 15: We need to use these superstitious beliefs of his to our advantage.
