What do I do when I get to level '1'?

  • 1 of 11: The first thing to do is to walk around the entire level.
  • 2 of 11: This time, unlike the other levels, you can't just walk across the middle, but will have to take the "long way" around the outer walkway.
  • 3 of 11: What do you notice as you walk around the outer walkway?
  • 4 of 11: One thing that should be noticeable is the "moat" that is separating you from the inner area of level '1'.
  • 5 of 11: Another thing is the numerous machines, placed strategically around the edge of the walkway.
  • 6 of 11: Of course, there's the stairway that you came down, when you walked down from the upper levels.
  • 7 of 11: And there is also one other machine, placed amidst the numerous other similar machines; but this one is definitely different than the others.
  • 8 of 11: You should also be able to see a few things on the platform inside of the moat area.
  • 9 of 11: And it looks like one of those things has a bunch of switches or levers on it -- so there might even be one more puzzle on the inner part of the platform...
  • 10 of 11: ... which would mean that you'll need to find a way to get over there, across the moat.
  • 11 of 11: For now, begin by focusing on -- and experimenting with -- the machines dispersed around the inside of the walkway -- the ones that are all similar.
