Sentinel: Descendants in Time Hints

What do I do at all of the light towers?

  • 1 of 15: The most obvious thing is that there is apparently a puzzle to solve at each of the light towers.
  • 2 of 15: But before you can solve those puzzles, you'll need to gather some information first.
  • 3 of 15: Do you notice anything unique about the four light towers?
  • 4 of 15: Is there anything else in Sanselard that reminds you of the light towers?
  • 5 of 15: The eight machinery towers are similar, in that they all have spinning wheels at the top.
  • 6 of 15: Perhaps there is a way to relate the light towers to the machinery towers.
  • 7 of 15: But correlating each light tower to a pair of machinery towers is only part of the puzzle.
  • 8 of 15: The obvious puzzle is the stand with the four quadrants, at the base of each light tower.
  • 9 of 15: Somehow, we need to determine which symbols are required by each light tower, to solve each puzzle.
  • 10 of 15: How can correlating the light towers with pairs of machinery towers help?
  • 11 of 15: Perhaps it's not the machinery towers themselves -- but, rather, something that THEY correlate to.
  • 12 of 15: Aside from the spinning wheels, what other characteristic of each machinery tower is also common to other structures in Sanselard?
  • 13 of 15: Both the machinery towers and the "stands" have "sound pads" that emit sounds when pressed.
  • 14 of 15: Using the information you get from the machinery towers and from the stands, can you think of a way to correlate that all to the light towers?
  • 15 of 15: Once you have identified all four symbols for each of the four light towers, you can use that information to solve the puzzle at each light tower.
