Sentinel: Descendants in Time Hints

What is the purpose of the large tower with the four dish antennae?

  • 1 of 10: By its very design, it seems to be a focal point in Sanselard.
  • 2 of 10: It receives light signals from each of the four light towers.
  • 3 of 10: The light signals -- sensed by the four dish antennae -- appear to drive four large mechanical "arms", one on each side of the tower.
  • 4 of 10: The circle underneath the tower, and the large glass "silo" above it, seem to imply that there's more to this tower than meets the eye.
  • 5 of 10: It obviously correlates to the other structures in Sanselard.
  • 6 of 10: What would happen if all of the mechanical arms on this structure operated in unison?
  • 7 of 10: The goal, then, of the large tower is to GET all four mechanical arms to operate together -- simultaneously.
  • 8 of 10: And to do that, you will need to synchronize the light beams from the four light towers, so that they strike the four dish antennae at the same time.
  • 9 of 10: When all four light beams are synchronized, and hit their antennae receivers at the same time, the mechanical arms will work in unison.  Watch the ensuing video for a clue to what to do next.
  • 10 of 10: Note the cut-scene that depicts the opening of the circular slab in the middle of Sanselard -- the one that had the writing on it.  It is now open -- perhaps you should go back there now and see what else has opened up!
