Sentinel: Descendants in Time Hints
What is the purpose of the large tower with the four dish antennae?
of 10: By its very design, it seems to be a focal point in Sanselard.
of 10: It receives light signals from each of the four light towers.
of 10: The light signals -- sensed by the four dish antennae -- appear to drive four large mechanical "arms", one on each side of the tower.
of 10: The circle underneath the tower, and the large glass "silo" above it, seem to imply that there's more to this tower than meets the eye.
of 10: It obviously correlates to the other structures in Sanselard.
of 10: What would happen if all of the mechanical arms on this structure operated in unison?
of 10: The goal, then, of the large tower is to GET all four mechanical arms to operate together -- simultaneously.
of 10: And to do that, you will need to synchronize the light beams from the four light towers, so that they strike the four dish antennae at the same time.
of 10: When all four light beams are synchronized, and hit their antennae receivers at the same time, the mechanical arms will work in unison. Watch the ensuing video for a clue to what to do next.
of 10: Note the cut-scene that depicts the opening of the circular slab in the middle of Sanselard -- the one that had the writing on it. It is now open -- perhaps you should go back there now and see what else has opened up!
