Sentinel: Descendants in Time Hints
How do I solve the other three main walkways?
1 of 4: Starting from the beginning walkway (i.e., where you first arrived in Corabanti), walk back to the main circular path around the island, and turn right. You should be heading in a counter-clockwise direction around the island. If we refer to the original walkway area as #1, then the next "beach" area with a set of walkways is 1/4 of the way round the island, on your right-hand side. That will be #2. Area #3 will be on the opposite side of the island from where you arrived, and area #4 will be the last area -- the one that is partially blocked by a large rock cliff of sorts (behind which is hidden the fifth set of paths, which will be described elsewhere.
2 of 4: For each of the other areas, we'll use a shorthand method of identifying the placement of the pathway segments, to get from land to the respective "umbrella stand" rocks. For each segment, the letter "R" or "S" will indicate a right-angle piece, or a straight piece of walkway. For straight pieces, "EW" will indicate to rotate the piece to an "East-West" orientation, while "NS" will indicate a "North-South" orientation. For right-angle pieces, the same compass directions will apply: "SE" will mean the piece faces "South and East"; "NW" will indicate "North and West", etc. Thus "R:SE" means that the next segment is a right-angle segment that needs to be rotate into a "South-East" orientation, while "S:NS" would indicate that the next segment is a straight piece that needs to be oriented "North-South".
3 of 4: One additional piece of "shorthand notation" will be added to each hint line -- and that is, the control button on the pyramid in the tower that controls each of the segments. In a manner similar to the description of turning the segments in the first area (Which buttons do I press to turn each segment?), the button indication will follow the segment orientation. Thus "R:SE 4:1" would mean that the next segment is a right-angle piece, and you must orient it to a "South-East" position, using side #4, button #1 on the control pyramid.
