Sentinel: Descendants in Time Hints
How can I get to the fifth "umbrella stand"?
of 13: This one is going to take a bit more work than the other four. Be sure that you have solved all four of the main pathway areas -- the ones visible from the main path -- before you attempt to reach (and solve) the fifth "umbrella stand" puzzle, because you will need to "un-arrange" some of the existing walkways to get there.
of 13: You are going to need to begin by rearranging some of the pieces of the path in area #4. (That is, the fourth area, counting the area where you initially arrived in Corabanti as #1, and moving in a counter-clockwise direction around the island -- or you could consider it the first area in a clockwise direction, after leaving your transporter area.) This is the area beside the high rock cliff face that is hiding the fifth "umbrella stand".
of 13: But before you do so, you'll need to know which walkway segments you are going to have to rotate within area #5 (the walkway segments hidden behind the rock cliff).
of 13: Like all of the others, these also have flags on them, with glyphs that indicate which buttons to press, to rotate them.
of 13: However, it's going to be a bit more difficult for two reasons: first, it's almost impossible to see the flag symbols while standing on the walkway in area #4. They're too distant.
of 13: You could always approach this using trial-and-error. That is, from the walkway in area #4, take a look at the closest flag in the adjacent segment of area #5. Go up to the pyramid control, and rotate that segment, until you can move out onto it, and then get a closer look at the next flag.
of 13: (By the way, this is the second reason this is harder than the rest -- because when you go up to the tower to rotate pathway segments in area #5... you won't be able to see them. You'll need to know BEFORE you go up, which symbol to push, and how many times to push it.)
of 13: Or you could try to do it in less trips up and back, by getting a closer look at the flags in area #5 -- a better-than-eyeball look, so to speak.
of 13: Regardless of whether you use the telescope, or simply make multiple trips back and forth from the walkway to the tower, you need to realign a portion of area #4 so that it will now connect up with the first segment of area #5.
of 13: Then, you must rearrange the segments of walkway in area #5 so as to make a complete path to the fifth -- and last! -- "umbrella stand".
of 13: When you reach the fifth "umbrella stand", use the clues provided previously (How do I know how to set each of the columns?) to set the correct colored disc on the column.
of 13: If you have set all four of the other colored discs correctly, then when this final disc is set correctly, you will see a cut-scene showing that the crystal in the center building has now been made accessible.
of 13: Go back to the building in the center of the island, retrieve the crystal, and return to your transporter, which will take you back to Tomb 35.
