Silent Hill 2 Hints
Riddle
1 of 3: Read the advice for Action and reverse it. If logic problems frustrate you and you just want the silly puzzles over with, choose Easy; if you're exhilarated by a good hard brainteaser, choose Hard.
2 of 3: Even at Hard, there aren't that many puzzles and they're not that hard, compared to something like Riven. They never, for example, depend on something you should have done at the beginning of the game. And there are no chess puzzles! A great point in the game's favor, in my opinion.
3 of 3: There is also an undocumented fourth riddle level. Complete the game once on each difficulty level (Easy, Normal, and Hard), then start another Hard game. This time it will come up on save as Riddle: Extra, with the difficulty of many puzzles kicked up a notch.
