The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Hints
What all clues do I need to gather for the wall plaque puzzle?
of 13: The plaque has three little oars on it, so look around the judge's office for items relating to his rowing activities.
of 13: There are four photos on the wall to the right of the office doors that you can examine.
of 13: The top left one will be seen by Holmes as important enough to take. That's one clue for the puzzle.
of 13: For another one, leave the office and turn right, then examine the note that's on the small table.
of 13: The photo you took from the office showed a building that said "University of New York" on it, so a book about American schools might be useful.
of 13: You'll find such a book in the classroom, on a small table that's on the same side of the room as the kitchen door.
of 13: Since these clues all have to do with the school the judge attended and his activities there, a copy of the Greek alphabet would be handy. Schools are always using Greek letters for fraternity names and such.
of 13: The fifth and final clue item that you need is also Greek-related, but will be a whole lot more trouble to get. To start on its trail, read the item that's on the small notice board in the area between the classroom and the judge's office.
of 13: It seems that one of the naughtier students stole the sweet cupboard's door handle, making it impossible to open. Turn right as you reenter the classroom to find the cupboard, then examine it to get a close-up.
of 13: In it, you can see that the door handle is missing, and you can see that there's a Greek book and a sweets box inside the cupboard. You've just gotta get that Greek book!
