The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Hints
How does the classroom plan puzzle work?
of 10: You'll need to place each of the students' name tags that are along the bottom of the screen on the desk where that student sits.
of 10: Use the arrows that are to the left and right of the name tag display to scroll it. There are 24 desks and 24 name tags in all.
of 10: When you want to place a name tag, click on it to pick it up, then move it to where its top left corner is on the desk you want to put it on. You can then click to place it there.
of 10: If you want to take a name tag off of a desk, click on the tag to pick it up again, then either click it on another desk or click it down on the scrollable name tag display to put it back down there.
of 10: When you point at a name tag on the scrollable list (or on a desk), you'll get some information about the student that'll help you figure out where he sits.
of 10: Note that some name tags are outlined in red, and some are outlined in blue. On the desk chart, there's a red border around the lower two rows, and a blue border around the top two rows.
of 10: This indicates that all of the blue name tags go in the two upper rows, and all of the red name tags go in the two lower rows.
of 10: Also note that some of the desks have little pictures drawn on them. To find out what that's about, click on the note that's near the top left corner of the screen.
of 10: The game will sometimes put green checkmarks on desks once you get a small group of names correct. That will act as a further help in figuring all of this out.
of 10: Your goal is to get all of the name tags (including the blank one) placed on the proper desks.
