The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Hints
How can I solve the classroom plan puzzle?
of 11: One section at a time. Let's start with the blue section, which consists of the upper two rows.
of 11: Scroll through the name tag list and point at each of the blue-outlined name tags to see if you can find any clues that will tell exactly where a name tag goes.
of 11: Notice that two of the desks in the second row have pictures on them denoting the student's job assignment.
of 11: Looking through the blue tags, you'll see that Talhia's job is caring for the plants, and Bart's job is storing the youngest group's books.
of 11: So put Talhia's name tag on the desk with the plant picture on it, and put Bart's name tag on the desk with the picture of a book with a fish on it.
of 11: Now go through all the remaining blue name tags and see if any of their clues relate to Bart or Talhia.
of 11: Alissa's name tag says that she and Talhia are sisters, and the teacher can't bear to separate them. That places Alissa at the desk to the left of Talhia's.
of 11: Eddy's name tag says that he sits by the window, and the only window seat not taken yet is the one at the right end of the first row.
of 11: However, Charles' name tag says he needs to sit in the light close to the chalkboard, and that his seat was changed with his neighbor Eddy.
of 11: That means Eddy was moved one space to the left, and Charles was put in the rightmost seat on the front row. When you place those two name tags correctly, the entire set of four desks will get green checkmarks.
of 11: Keep going through the name tags and using their clues until you get them all correctly placed.
