How can I analyze the items I recovered from the crime scene?
1 of 4: After opening the armoire's chest, travel back to Holmes' apartment. (Press C to bring up the travel map, then click the pipe cursor on the big magnifying glass that's in the top left corner.)
2 of 4: When you regain control, Holmes will be standing next to his analysis table. Notice that it has two hand icons on it.
3 of 4: The left hand icon is for using the device with the magnifying glass on it to analyze small items, and the right hand icon is for using the chemical analysis setup to analyze chemicals.
4 of 4: You need to do both types of analysis, and you can do them in either order.
