The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Hints
How does the target range puzzle work?
of 10: There are eight animal targets on the range which you can move around and position in certain ways.
of 10: To switch the locations of two animal targets, click on one to pick it up, click on the other one to switch them, then click on the empty space to place the second one.
of 10: When you're pointing at an animal target, a sentence or two from the clues you gathered will appear at the top of the screen.
of 10: Those clues will help you figure out where each animal target is supposed to go.
of 10: Pointing at a target also causes two arrows to display just above it.
of 10: Clicking on the up or down arrow will switch whether the target is standing up or lying back.
of 10: That has to do with whether the animal is alive or not. If so, have it be standing up. If not, have it be lying back.
of 10: The clues will also have information in them as to whether an animal is alive or dead.
of 10: The other arrow has to do with the animal's facing. Each target animal can face left or right, and you can switch their facing with the left/right arrow. (Once again, the clues will help you determine each animal's correct facing.)
of 10: Your goal is to get all of the animals in the correct locations, the correct positions (alive or dead), and the correct facings (left or right).
