The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Hints

How can I track down the guys who poisoned Kurtz?

  • 1 of 13: Go through the dispensary's big gate, then turn left and go down the street until you can turn right onto a side street.
  • 2 of 13: Check the street sign on the right to verify that it's Berner street, then go down to where it turns right.
  • 3 of 13: Go to the end of the street to find door number 13 surrounded by fancy Chinese-style decorations.
  • 4 of 13: Open the door to go inside and talk to the Chinese receptionist, then go down the main hallway until you find a side hallway with a large thug standing in front of a door.
  • 5 of 13: Approach the thug to get warned off, then look to the left of his side hallway to find another door. Try to open it to get a brief cut-scene, then look for a way to unlock it.
  • 6 of 13: Go back to the reception area and look next to the desk to find several keys hanging on a board on the wall.
  • 7 of 13: Examine the key board's hotspot to get Holmes to suggest distracting the receptionist in order to get the locked room's key.
  • 8 of 13: What if one of the den's customers were to become distressed about something, enough to raise a ruckus? That should distract the receptionist long enough to steal the locked room's key.
  • 9 of 13: If you look along the right side as you move down the den's main hallway, you'll find one customer who's awake.
  • 10 of 13: After the distraction is done, go to the reception area and click on the key board to get a close-up of it.
  • 11 of 13: Once you have the right key, select it in inventory, then go click on the side room's door to open it and go inside.
  • 12 of 13: Go over to the right corner of the room, where you can see a small grilled window on the wall.
  • 13 of 13: It connects to the thug-guarded private room. Examine it to overhear a conversation that will confirm that Kurtz's killers are in there.
