1 of 6: You need to find some hidden, secret information that you can use as leverage to get what you need from the reverend.
2 of 6:
The information you're after is hidden under a floor tile that's beneath the large rug.
- How can I get Holmes to move the rug?
3 of 6:
Once you find the floor's little chessboard, you'll need to find the item that can be used on it to figure out which tile to pry up.
- Where can I find the chess-related item?

Select the knight's head from inventory, then click on the chessboard's hand icon to bring up the knight-moving puzzle screen.

After finishing that puzzle, you'll need to pry up the tile that the knight piece ended up on.
- How can I get that tile pried up?
6 of 6: Click on the item hidden underneath the tile to get the reverend's hidden letters.
