The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Hints

Where can I get flawless pearls?

  • 1 of 9: There are almost no fixed locations for them whatsoever.
  • 2 of 9: One flawless pearl is for some unknown reason perched on a narrow ledge way up high on the north side of the "Common Treasures" shop that's near the north end of the Bliss district in New Sheoth.
  • 3 of 9: Back in the Imperial City in Cyrodiil, there are two flawless pearls in the "booty" chest in the captain's cabin of the Maria Elena. It's featured in the Dark Brotherhood quest "A Watery Grave," so see its hints for all the details.
  • 4 of 9: If you can wait until you're on the "Symbols of Office" Main Quest, you can get two flawless pearls from the Antechamber section of The Howling Halls. (See that quest's hints for more details.)
  • 5 of 9: If you have the Vile Lair downloadable content (DLC) module installed, go to Deepscorn Hollow and loot the four special "Greywyn's Cache" bags. There are a lot of random gems in them, and you may get lucky and find a flawless pearl. (See the hint file called "The Elder Scrolls IV: Knights of the Nine" for my hints on that module.)
  • 6 of 9: You can go around and loot Shivering Isles dungeons, hoping to get lucky and find flawless pearls in some of the treasure containers.
  • 7 of 9: Or you can go hunt baliwogs in wet areas, since they can randomly have pearls on them.
  • 8 of 9: Also, there's a 25% chance you'll get a pearl when you loot the sunken urn in Crucible (see the Rooftop Treasure hints).
  • 9 of 9: If you want to get some flawless pearls the cheat way, their form number is 38B9A.
