The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Hints
How can I get into the greenmote silo?
of 12: Wide-Eye is your key to doing that.
of 12: Since she won't tell you how to get in, you'll have to sneakily follow her when she goes in.
of 12: She mentioned something about an errand at noon -- maybe that's when she goes into the silo.
of 12: You can track her via a quest arrow on the local map, but it's easier to go to the Palace Grounds area and find the greenmote silo entrance yourself first.
of 12: Check the local map after you run around enough to reveal it all to find that the silo is marked a bit NW of the entrance to the House of Mania.
of 12: Search around that area on all levels to see if you can find anything promising.
of 12: All you'll find that looks the least bit like a possibility is an interactive bust of Sheogorath down on the lowest level.
of 12: That must be the silo entrance gimmick, but the game won't let you open it yourself.
of 12: So stake it out until noon.
of 12: Just stand around near the bust until Wide-Eye shows up and you get a couple of journal entries.
of 12: NOTE: If she just stands next to the bust and you don't get the journal entries, try moving back (west) from her.
of 12: After Wide-Eye enters the silo, you can move forward to where the bust was and use a ladder to go in yourself.
