The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Hints
Milchar
of 10: When you arrive at Milchar, find its Nexus door in the base of a large stump and go through it. (If you can fast-travel to Milchar, doing so will put you very close to the Nexus door.)
of 10: In the Nexus area, go straight forward to find the door to the Grove of Reflection.
of 10: WARNING: Save your game here in case you find the combat ahead to be too hard for you. If it is, restore this save and level up more, get better equipment and spells, etc.
of 10: In the grove, drop carefully through a floor hole, using a large root to help you fall in two harmless stages.
of 10: At the path split, head south to find a pool of water with a standing stone in the center of it.
of 10: Approach the standing stone to get it to make a super-powerful clone of you that you have to fight! This can be extremely hard, but you still have to do it.
of 10: After you beat the clone, look around for its dropped Shadowrend weapon. You can't loot the body, but you can take Shadowrend. (Unless the clone had it sheathed when it died.)
of 10: Then find the Tree of Shades at the north end of the pool and click on it to get the branch that you need.
of 10: Go north from the pool and then west at the path split to find a wall with a push button on it.
of 10: Use the button to open up the wall, then use the teleporter pad past it to return to the Nexus area, from which you can exit Milchar.
