How can I get the soul essence gem?
1 of 6: Go east from the Keeper's structure until you find another large structure with a giant soul gem hovering over it.
2 of 6: Go up the stairs on the south side of the structure, then go forward until you have to turn left.
3 of 6: Just past that, turn right, then turn right again when you can. You'll find a Daedra heart and some soul husks on a large stone block.
4 of 6: Turn right past the stone block, then keep going until you come to where there are two right-side areas. One has a sack of soul husks, and the other one has a little teleporter basin.
5 of 6: Jump into the basin to be teleported onto the structure's roof, then go up the stairs to find the chest with the soul essence gem in it. (As usual with these giant floating soul gems, eat a soul husk as soon as it starts draining your health.)
6 of 6: Note that taking the soul essence gem gets you a black soul gem and restores your health, magicka, and stamina to their original values if you didn't enter the Soul Cairn as a vampire.
