What new things are there now?
1 of 4: Drink from the Bloodstone Chalice to get a temporary effect that allows your Vampiric Drain spell to drain stamina and magicka in addition to health.
2 of 4: You can talk to one of the named death hounds that are patrolling around and get it to join you as an animal follower, and you can ask various people what you can do to help in order to get referred to someone for a Side Quest.
3 of 4: Now's also a good time to be going around and earning perk points for your vampire perk tree. See the New Perks info for more details.
4 of 4: Note that from now on, there's a chance that some Dawnguard soldiers will randomly appear and attack you when you fast-travel somewhere. Always be ready for combat when fast-traveling.
