Locate Valerica.
1 of 5: Go down to the bottom of the stairs that you're on, then follow the light-colored dirt path NE.
2 of 5: Watch for hostile skeleton types, such as bonemen and mistmen, and keep going until you meet a soul on the path that gives you "Find Arvak's skull in the Soul Cairn" miscellaneous quest.
3 of 5: Keep going along the path, ignoring side branches, until you reach a spot where you can go through the huge wall that divides the region into two major sections.
4 of 5: Keep following the main path until you reach a messed-up looking castle.
5 of 5: Go up the steps and press up against the force field to find Valerica, then wait until you get the next objective.
