1 of 6: Explore the chamber's eastern fortifications until you find the passage that leads to a barred door.
2 of 6: Raise the bar so you can open the door, then go down to where you need to use a lever to open a gate.
3 of 6: In the room past it, a powerful Thalmor mage is waiting for you.
4 of 6: Move on past him to find another barred door, followed by a ladder that'll get you outside.
5 of 6: You could return to Winterhold right away, but it's best to first go get some filled soul gems from merchants or a stash you have and fully recharge the Staff of Magnus. After you do that, get several more soul gems for future rechargings, since you'll need to use the staff extensively at the College.
6 of 6: When you're ready, fast-travel back to Winterhold, then run along the bridge that leads to the College until you find Tolfdir. Talk to him to finish this quest and get the final one.
