The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Clear Soljund's Sinkhole of Draugr.
1 of 11: Go to the Soljund's Sinkhole location, then approach the entrance to the mine to get Perth to talk to you.
2 of 11: TIP: Don't enter the mine until you have your best melee-damage weapon with you plus several stamina-restoring potions. It would also help to have a good bow for sneak attacks, plus some paralyzing poisons.
3 of 11: After you enter the mine, go into Sneak mode and move slowly forward. At the path intersection, look to the left for your first draugr.
4 of 11: Try to sneak-shoot it with an arrow or two. If you're seen before you kill it, expect one or two more draugr to rush to the attack.
5 of 11: Check the table on the upper part of their room for a Light Armor skill book if you want, then go the other way to find a wooden ramp leading up to the top of a large hole.
6 of 11: Drop down the hole carefully while hugging its side to avoid taking damage, then get ready to fight two draugr that burst out of their sarcophagi. Another draugr or two may run in to join the battle. If not, try to sneak up to where you can sneak-attack them after you finish off the first two.
7 of 11: Move on past them until you reach a room with a closed gate.
8 of 11: Past the gate, go up the steps, then sneak slowly forward until you hit a pressure plate that opens the door ahead of you. Try to sneak-shoot at least one of the draugr in the room past the door before they come after you.
9 of 11: After they're all down, go through the door on the other side of their room and up some stairs. Optionally check the dim right-side passage to find a treasure chest, then go down the better-lit passage until you reach a large room with a powerful draugr overlord in it.
10 of 11: After the overlord is killed, go down the passage that starts near the SW corner of his room. It'll lead you to where you can drop down to a spot near the top of the big hole you dropped down earlier.
11 of 11: Retrace your route from there to exit the mine, then tell Perth that you cleared the mine of draugr. He'll give you a leveled amount of gold as a reward.
