Follow the Pilgrim's Path.
1 of 2: Ask the Nightingale Sentinel what you'll face in the Pilgrim's Path to get the "(Optional) Retrieve Nystrom's Journal" objective, then do it.
2 of 2: Go up the stairs near the sentinel and down the passage to reach the iron doors that lead to the first of four path areas. (Yes, the journal mentions five, but there are really only four.)
