What about the fourth path area?
1 of 3: Go down the corridor and through some iron doors, then continue on until you reach the top of a well.
2 of 3: It'll hurt a bit, but drop straight down into the well.
3 of 3: It'll look like you're trapped, but all you have to do is stand and wait for the Skeleton Key to save the day and give you the "Return the Skeleton Key to the Ebonmere" objective.
