  • 1 of 7: You might want to stay near the Word Wall at first. The door you used to enter the room is now closed and locked, and a bunch of draugr are going to attack a few at a time.
  • 2 of 7: Help Farkas out as much as you can, since he can be taken down (temporarily), during which time you'll have no one to help you against the draugr.
  • 3 of 7: TIP: If you have one of the rune spells (Fire Rune, Frost Rune, or Lightning Rune) or a two-handed weapon, restore the quicksave you made right before taking the fragment. You can then go around and use the rune spells or two-handed weapon to force the draugr out of their sarcos one or a few at a time. That'll make the fight much more manageable. After they're all finished off, you can go get the fragment, and then leave.
  • 4 of 7: After they finally stop coming, go up the log stairs on the south side of the area, then look for a narrow passage you can use to return to the Dustman's Cairn area.
  • 5 of 7: Continue along the passage until you reach a lever, then use it to open up a secret wall section.
  • 6 of 7: Past that, turn right to find the exit, then fast-travel back to Whiterun (or Dragonsreach, since it's closer to Jorrvaskr than Whiterun's gate).
  • 7 of 7: When you approach the entrance to Jorrvaskr, Vilkas will talk to you and give you the next objective.
