The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints

Find the stolen books.

  • 1 of 8: Talk to Ancano briefly on your way out, then go find Fellglow Keep.
  • 2 of 8: Watch for enemy mages and an atronach as you approach, then look for a way into the keep after they're dealt with.
  • 3 of 8: Inside the keep, go along the passage to find several mages to kill in the chapel, plus one more in the next room. (Don't neglect to look for a Conjuration skill book on a podium in the chapel.)
  • 4 of 8: After you kill off the mages in the next room you come to, go up the stairs and along the passage to reach a circular room with lots of shelves and some more mages.
  • 5 of 8: Go through a mage quarters area that's guarded by an atronach to find a door that leads to the keep's ritual chamber.
  • 6 of 8: Enter the chamber and talk to the mage who calls herself the Caller.
  • 7 of 8: If you have to fight the Caller, she'll make herself annoying by teleporting around the chamber. Concentrate on chasing her around and doing her damage, and hopefully her atronachs won't be too much bother (especially if you have Orthorn and/or a regular follower with you).
  • 8 of 8: To finish this objective, pick up the three quest-arrow-marked books that are setting on pedestals.
