The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Bleak Falls Sanctum
1 of 9: Move through the entry chamber and on down the passage until you come to a swinging blade trap.
2 of 9: Before running through it, stand near the first swinging blade and fire some arrows or ranged spells (like Fireball) into the room beyond. You'll hopefully be able to get a couple of the draugr in the room to run down to where you can shoot them or lure them into getting chopped up by the swinging blades.
3 of 9: As before, time your way through the trap (sprinting right after the nearest blade swings past), then use the chain on the other side to deactivate it.
4 of 9: You'll then have a few draugr to fight, or just one if you used the above tip to lure the others into the trap.
5 of 9: Cross the room's stone bridge, then move on to find a large iron door. Past it, cross the chamber to find another door that won't be so easy to open.
6 of 9: Go up the stairs past the door to enter a huge cavern, then use the narrow stone bridge to cross the stream.
7 of 9: Check the platform with the sarcophagus on it for loot, then quicksave before approaching the large fancy wall carving (aka "Word Wall").
8 of 9: After the wall teaches you the first word of the Unrelenting Force shout, moving toward the sarcophagus will cause the draugr overlord inside it to rise and attack you.
