Draugr Overlord Combat Tips
1 of 6: Start by charging the sarcophagus so you can hit the overlord with a power attack or your best close-range spell before he can get to his feet.
2 of 6: Immediately sprint away from him and start maneuvering around the chamber. He has a long-range shout attack, but it's not nearly as powerful as his magic sword.
3 of 6: Try to keep out of melee range and hit him with spells and arrows until his health is low, then move in for a power attack to finish him off.
4 of 6: Or you could sprint back across the narrow stone bridge before the overlord can rise out of his sarco, then hide behind the large pair of stone columns that are back near the area's entry door. If you're fast enough, the overlord won't see you or follow you.
5 of 6: Sneak-attack him with an arrow, then stay hidden behind the stone columns by edging around to keep them between you and the overlord when he comes running. You can easily keep track of his position by the quest arrow that's attached to him, since you can see it even through solid rock.
6 of 6: After he gives up and wanders off, hit him with another sneaky arrow. Hide from him again, then repeat the process until he's dead. (And don't forget to quicksave between successful attacks.)
