Where do I go from this room?
1 of 3: You'll need to go down the stairwell that's under the floor grate.
2 of 3: To open it up, use the pull chain that's in the middle of the south wall.
3 of 3: Note that you can do that before fighting the draugr, allowing you to go down the stairwell (or back the way you came) to prevent them from ganging up on you.
