How does the combat with Halldir work?
1 of 4: There's no way to get Halldir to coalesce into an attackable form without entering the room, so you'll have to allow yourself to be trapped.
2 of 4: Quickly hit him with some heavy damage, after which he'll disappear and create several weaker duplicates of himself.
3 of 4: Run around and finish them off one at a time to get the genuine Halldir to return.
4 of 4: This time, you'll be able to kill him without him pulling any more disappearing tricks.
