How can I get to Ivarstead?
1 of 8: There are several ways to get there, including some that are shorter than this one, but they all involve rockier terrain and/or encounters with more powerful monsters.
2 of 8: Fast-travel to the Honningbrew Meadery, then go east to the path split with two bridges.
3 of 8: Go across the east bridge, then follow the paved path along until you reach the Valtheim Towers. Bandits have taken them over, and one of them will demand that you pay a toll.
4 of 8: Move on past the towers until you cross a bridge and come to a path split, then go down the southern path until you pass Fort Amol on the left (you might as well go up to it and discover it) and cross another bridge.
5 of 8: Continue along the paved path and cross yet another bridge, then keep going as the path starts winding up a large hill. When you come to a path split, turn right (SW).
6 of 8: Follow the path along until you discover Snapleg Cave, then keep going (ignoring a bridge on your right) until you reach a spot where the path intersects with a dirt trail. Use the dirt trail to discover the Sarethi Farm if you want to, then return to the paved path.
7 of 8: After you cross a bridge, go straight (SW) at the first path split, then right (north) at the second one.
8 of 8: It's just a short trip from that second path split to Ivarstead.
