The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints

Retrieve the Jagged Crown.

  • 1 of 10: After Rikke gives a motivational speech, follow her and the other soldiers toward Korvanjund's entrance.
  • 2 of 10: When you encounter hostile Stormcloak soldiers, you can either lead the charge or hang back and let the Imperials do all the work.
  • 3 of 10: Follow them to the Korvanjund Temple's entrance door, then go inside and follow Legate Rikke around, either helping to kill the Stormcloak soldiers or just staying out of the way.
  • 4 of 10: When Rikke stops next to a tunnel and tells you to find another way into the room past it, you could just run down the tunnel and start attacking the nearest Stormcloak. However, that would make you the main target at first.
  • 5 of 10: Follow Rikke to a room with a lone Stormcloak to kill, then go through a door to enter the Korvanjund Halls area.
  • 6 of 10: Keep following until your progress is halted by a fancy puzzle door, then figure out how to open it.
  • 7 of 10: Past that is a large room with a gate at its west end that you'll need to open.
  • 8 of 10: Several draugr will attack the Imperials after you open the gate, so drop down there quickly if you want to participate in the combat. After the draugr are all dead, follow Rikke and the boys into the Korvanjund Crypt area.
  • 9 of 10: When they reach the chamber with the crown, stay back and wait for three powerful draugr to attack. As usual, you can participate in the combat or just stay back and wait until it's over.
  • 10 of 10: Loot the draugr scourge to get the Jagged Crown and the next objective.
