The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Follow up on the clues from Hjerim.
1 of 7: You could leave now, but there are some other important things to investigate.
2 of 7: Leave Hjerim and talk to any city guard to get two relevant topics.
3 of 7: Ask about the butcher to be referred to Viola Giordano, and ask about the amulet (if you got it) to be referred to Calixto.
4 of 7: It's a bit more convenient to talk to Calixto first. If he's not in his House of Curiosities, follow this objective's two quest arrows until you find out which one points to him.
5 of 7: Ask Calixto about the amulet, then agree to sell it to him for 500 gold. (Note that you can then pickpocket it back, but don't. You'll get it back later, after it's been properly identified.)
6 of 7: Follow the other quest arrow to find Viola Giordano. Ask her about the butcher, then mention the journal you found to get the "Talk to Jorleif" objective.
7 of 7: NOTE: If you didn't fully investigate Hjerim yourself, you'll only be able to show Viola one of the posters. You'll then have to do the "Investigate Hjerim with Viola" objective before you can get the above-mentioned one.
