The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Reforge the Gauldur Amulet.
1 of 6: Now you need to go to Reachwater Rock, which is a ways SE of Markarth. See its section of the World Map Exploration Guide.
2 of 6: Enter the cave area, then move along the path until you reach an ancient Nordic puzzle door.
4 of 6: Go down the passage past the second puzzle door until you come to a large chamber, then cross it to find an altar with three small pedestals on it.
5 of 6: Quicksave before you use the pedestals to place the Gauldur amulet fragments. After you place all three, you'll have to fight spectral versions of all three Gauldurson brothers, one right after another.
