Destruction Ritual Spell

  • 1 of 9: Get your Destruction skill all the way up to 100, then ask Faralda in the Hall of Countenance (or out on the big bridge) what else there is to be learned about Destruction magic.
  • 2 of 9: She'll give you a book called "Power of the Elements." Read it in inventory to get a clue as to where you need to take it first.
  • 3 of 9: Kill off the skeevers at the Windward Ruins, then locate the pedestal in the ruins' central circular area.
  • 4 of 9: Take the book and read it in inventory to see that it now has the second clue in it.
  • 5 of 9: Fight your way through North Skybound Watch's bandit camp, then look for the pedestal at the end of a narrow, curving stick-out ledge.
  • 6 of 9: Take the book and read it in inventory, turning the page to find the third clue.
  • 7 of 9: As with the previous lookout, you'll need to fight your way through a bandit camp to get to the pedestal you're after.
  • 8 of 9: Take the book back from the pedestal, then attempt to read it in inventory to learn the Fire Storm spell.
  • 9 of 9: That'll end the quest, but you should check back with Faralda to find that she now sells spell tomes for Blizzard and Lightning Storm.
