I'm trying to get out.
1 of 7: Optimator 2 should be lying dead on the ground after you have control over your characters again.
2 of 7: Actually, it isn't dead. Just injured.
3 of 7: Data seems to be the one who can help you here.
4 of 7: Have him examine the alien with the medical kit, and you can synthesize a stimulant. (Other characters will defer to Data, at least the ones that I tried.)
5 of 7: Use the stimulant on the Chodak, and he will give you the code to the security system.
6 of 7: Your next problem is getting the rod out of the control panel.
7 of 7: Remove the rod and then re-insert it. The panel should come back on, and you can deactivate the security system by pressing each of the buttons once. It is now safe to walk through the room with the security system.
