How do I get the rod out of the security control panel?
1 of 5: Take a look at that hole next to the port.
2 of 5: It's a manual ejection device, according to your tricorder.
3 of 5: Hopefully, you found something suited for this sort of purpose earlier in the game.
4 of 5: On the screen where the two robots repaired each other, there was a sheet of metal on the ground. Pick up the sheet of metal, and you'll find a paper clip underneath.
5 of 5: Use it on the hole to eject the rod. Or if you don't have the paper clip, you can always get past the security system without using the rod. See the following hint for more information (although the hints tell you how to get past the security system from the other direction, so you'll need to reverse the instructions).
