What's glitch #1?

  • 1 of 8: You can duplicate any lightsaber along with all the upgrade items that are installed in it.
  • 2 of 8: First, install all the upgrades you want duplicates of in a lightsaber, then have a companion equip that saber.
  • 3 of 8: Then go to a workbench (or use T3) and choose to upgrade that lightsaber.
  • 4 of 8: Change its color crystal and click "assemble," then choose to upgrade that same lightsaber again. Click on the color crystal slot, but click "OK" and then "assemble" without actually changing the color crystal.
  • 5 of 8: You'll have the duplicate saber in your inventory now! Close the workbench and immediately save and then restore your save (this is important for "setting" the duplicate lightsaber properly).
  • 6 of 8: Then you can have someone equip the duplicate saber, or plunder it for parts. You can make an endless stream of lightsabers and spare upgrade items this way for using or for selling.
  • 7 of 8: You can duplicate your personalized lightsaber crystal from Dantooine by having it in a lightsaber that you have equipped, then having a companion use a workbench or T3 to do the above process. If your lightsaber is one-handed, you can then equip it and its duplicate at the same time for twice the big bonuses!
  • 8 of 8: NOTE: After you talk to Kreia following a level-up to improve your personalized crystal, you'll need to install it in one of your lightsabers and then duplicate that lightsaber as before. (Kreia won't improve duplicate crystals that are inside lightsabers, and any duplicates in your inventory will be eliminated when she does the improvement.)
