Syberia II Hints

What can I do with the train? The track stops here.

  • 1 of 13: As the chief says, "Train ride over ... voyage is still long."
  • 2 of 13: You'll have to find another way to continue your journey.
  • 3 of 13: You would have needed to do this in any case. Syberia is an island, and a train is a strictly land-based mode of transportation.
  • 4 of 13: To reach Syberia, you'll need a ship of some sort --
  • 5 of 13: -- like, say, the ark.
  • 6 of 13: But if that's so, why did Hans so carefully arrange to bring the train here inside the mountain?
  • 7 of 13: It must have some function to perform, even if it doesn't move another inch.
  • 8 of 13: There's a clue to this in the journal.
  • 9 of 13: Read the story of the ark, especially page 20.
  • 10 of 13: The ark hasn't been able to sail for centuries because it's encased in ice.
  • 11 of 13: As a matter of fact, it's here in the Youkol village, floating just in front of the massive sea gates --
  • 12 of 13: -- and directly in front of the train.
  • 13 of 13: Hans must have planned to use the train to free the ark from the ice.
