Third Course: Tongue
1 of 10: The item you want is in the bar, at the far end of the bar under a bell jar. Read the sign, then ask W.P. about it for details.
2 of 10: He calls it a fugu jolokia and says he'll give it to anyone who can keep their tongue on it for 11 seconds. Well, let's give it a try.
3 of 10: Yikes! It's so hot he can't even hold it in his hand for that long. Seems Guybrush's prosthetic hand would help here.
4 of 10: Ask W.P. about it to get the jar lifted again, then use the hook. That lets you pick it up --
5 of 10: -- but that's all. Guybrush doesn't have a prosthetic tongue, unfortunately. But there's a way to make his actual tongue numb for a short time.
7 of 10: The "Auto-Trepanation Helmet," which hangs from the ceiling in the middle of the room, is an amazing little device. Play with it and see what occurs to you.
8 of 10: Pushing the first button on the helmet will numb your tongue until you interact with a person or thing. That's ideal for the purpose.
9 of 10: But note that the effect only lasts as long as you don't interact with anything before you get to the pepper. That means you need to get everything set up, then go numb your tongue, then bolt back to the bar and grab the pepper.
10 of 10: If you're having trouble getting this to work, the specific process is:
