What am I doing in Defense Engineering?

  • 1 of 7: Up here, you'll find some of the tools you need to get past the bees on the fourth floor. Explore the place and see what you find. If you fall into one of the mech repair bays, climb the ladder to get back out.
  • 2 of 7: Go to the control booth at the back and up a floor to see a monitor showing a mech inside a hive. Aha! But --
  • 3 of 7: -- it also says it has "battery failure." So we need to get it a charged battery before we can power it back up.
  • 4 of 7: You can find a dead mech battery in the shelves on the right side of the room, and there's a battery recharger on the upper level --
  • 5 of 7: -- but it has a proximity mine in front of it, so you can't get near it.
  • 6 of 7: Once the mine is gone, insert the dead battery in the slot of the recharger, and you'll find that the machine needs a plasma canister to function. There are some empty ones downstairs, and Tex says he thinks he can find some more in Biometrics.
  • 7 of 7: Put the plasma canister in the battery charger and take the charged mech battery. Now you're ready to go.
