Curse of Atlantis: Thorgal's Quest Hints
How can I get the drawbridge at the east end of the village working again?
of 11: Find the control mechanism for raising and lowering the drawbridge.
of 11: It's the brown thing that's near the bridge. You'll get the Action Cursor when you point at it.
of 11: Click on it while standing next to it to learn that the activation lever is missing.
of 11: You need to find that lever in order to get the bridge working.
of 11: But first, talk to the village ruler and find out what's going on back home if you haven't already (see following link).
of 11: Oldreif is the only one who can make the drawbridge work, and he's not cooperating.
of 11: So talk to the only other person who's still around.
of 11: Talk to the Viking woman who's on the same screen as the spinning archery target until she tells you about how Oldreif hid the bridge's activation lever in his hut.
of 11: You can bet he won't let you find it or steal it while he's in there, so you'll need to decoy him away somehow. Once he's gone, sneak in and find the activation lever.
of 11: Once you have the lever, go use it with the brown control gadget that's next to the bridge to put it back in place. (Right-click to get the Activity Bar, click on the lever to pick it up, then click it on the brown thing.)
of 11: Now you can click on the lever to get the bridge raised up to where you can cross it.
