The Moment of Silence Hints
How can I get the Sector B elevator access door open?
of 12: Look around it for a control panel.
of 12: To the right of the door is a blue display that you can get a close-up of.
of 12: It has a large switch in the middle, but it does nothing at first.
of 12: You see those four number displays on the panel? You need to set them all to certain values before the central switch will open the elevator.
of 12: Three of the number displays have little arrow buttons next to them that you can click on to change the values. (Note that the fourth number display is a total of the other three added together.)
of 12: Notice what Peter says about the sound of gas hissing.
of 12: Also remember what Hostess Linda said about Sector B.
of 12: It contains experiments that are conducted "under space conditions."
of 12: Those conditions don't involve a whole lot of breathable atmosphere.
of 12: Before the elevator is accessible, you need to pressurize it and its destination area.
of 12: If this weren't an adventure game, there'd be one simple big button to press to do the pressurizing. As it is, the thing is turned into a puzzle where you have to enter the right proportions of atmospheric gases.
of 12: Once you enter 21, 78, and 1 (starting at the lower left corner), the elevator will open and you can click on it to get taken down to a strange little machine factory.
