What if I make a mistake and put in the wrong ingredient?
1 of 6: You'll need to start over from the beginning.
2 of 6: Just leaving the grate and returning will not reset the puzzle.
3 of 6: Before starting over, you'll need to empty out what has been put into the grate.
4 of 6: Notice anything about the grate itself, which might help?
5 of 6: Move the lever at the bottom of the grate to dump out the contents.
6 of 6: You can only reset the puzzle while you are still adding ingredients. Leaving an incorrect formula in the grate and trying to finish this puzzle may result in your death, so save before finishing. (The question below tells you how to "finish" the formula after you've added all the correct ingredients, if you don't know what that means.)
