The Omega Stone Hints

How do I use the formula once I know what it is?

  • 1 of 12: You'll need to know what the formula is before you can continue.
Note:  It is advisable to save your game before starting the formula.
  • 2 of 12: You should also have 4 alchemy measures.
  • 3 of 12: You will not find a Pint measure, nor will you find a Pound measure...
  • 4 of 12: ... but it is still possible to measure out a Pint or a Pound, using the measures that you already have.
  • 5 of 12: To figure out how to do that, it is advisable to review the alchemy book.
  • 6 of 12: There is a list of measures and equivalents in the alchemy book.  By using that information, it is possible to re-write your list of ingredients into portions that you can measure.  It is also possible to simplify some of the ingredients lists, so that fewer measurements will be needed.
  • 7 of 12: One Pint is the same as 1 Ounce plus 4 Drams.  1 Pound equals 12 Ounces.  Read ahead for the complete formula that you'll need to use.
  • 8 of 12: Fish -- 1 Scruple; 5 Drams; 1 Ounce.
    Snake -- 4 Drams; 2 Pinches.
    Swan -- 14 Ounces.
    Bird -- 1 Ounces; 4 Drams; 1 Scruple.
    Horse -- 2 Scruples; 1 Ounce.
    Pig -- 1 Pinch; 1 Dram.
  • 9 of 12: Before making the formula, make sure you save your game.  Also, make sure the grate is completely empty.  If you make a mistake when working on the formula, you will also need to empty the grate and begin again.
  • 10 of 12: Now that you know the formula, all you have to do is take the correct portion of powder from each of the skulls in the circle and pour it into the grate in the center.
  • 11 of 12: Finally -- there is only one thing left to do...
  • 12 of 12: You'll need to ignite the ingredients in the grate.  Note: A correctly executed formula will yield a reward.  However, if you've made a mistake with the formula, igniting the ingredients will cause your death.
