Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Hints
How can I get past the first machine gun on this level?
1 of 7: If you haven't found that machine gun already, turn to the east shortly after entering this level and pass a palm tree. Keep heading down the streets here, and the machine gun will be to your right when the streets dead-end.
2 of 7: There's a general trick to destroying the machine guns. You may not have found it yet if you used the helicopter to blow up the pair of guns in the City of the Dead, so the following topic may help you learn that more general trick.
3 of 7: Notice that there are crates all throughout the room with the machine gun.
4 of 7: You can use those to keep the machine gun from tracking you.
5 of 7: Get as close as you can to the crates near the entrance to the room, and then crouch.
6 of 7: Stay crouched, and keep walking around the crates, again staying as close to them as you can.
7 of 7: You should eventually end up next to a small opening in the crates, looking onto the machine gun. If the gun never saw you as you were crossing the room, the usual white cylinder should be straight ahead and easily shootable.
