How can I plug the hole?

  • 1 of 11: You'll need some planks to do that with.
  • 2 of 11: While facing the boat, turn left to find a couple of small planks nailed to a thick chunk of wood.
  • 3 of 11: Click on the planks to find that you need to use forceps to pull out the nails.
  • 4 of 11: Also, even after you could get the planks loose, you'd still have to cut them to the right size to cover the boat's hole.
  • 5 of 11: You don't have either one of the tools you need yet, so you're going to have to go on a tool hunt.
  • 6 of 11: There are no new places on the island to search for tools, so search the wreck of the ship you just blasted.
  • 7 of 11: In the underwater wreck area, look around for some tools.
  • 8 of 11: They're inside the surgeon's case, so get it.
  • 9 of 11: Disassemble the surgeon's case in inventory to find that it has both of the tools that you need.
  • 10 of 11: Return to the Flowery Coast and use your new forceps on the planks to loosen them.
  • 11 of 11: Then use the amputation saw on the planks to get Jim to cut them to the right size and put them in the boat's hole.
