Destination: Treasure Island Hints
How can I get him to talk?
of 14: If you talk to him, he'll just complain that you're leaving him there to bleed to death.
of 14: So fix up his wounded leg. He might then be grateful enough to tell you where the other key is.
of 14: If you click on the bloody part of his leg, Jim will say that he can remove the bullet with a pair of forceps.
of 14: You've still got the forceps from your earlier boat-repair activities.
of 14: Get them from inventory and click on Morgan's wounded leg.
of 14: Jim will hesitate to operate on an open wound without administering a pain-killer.
of 14: What kind of pain-killers are salty old sea dogs most fond of?
of 14: Give Morgan some rum, and he'll be able to stand the operation.
of 14: You sent a bottle of rum up here earlier, so look around for it.
of 14: It's on the floor nearby, next to the pirate Morgan shot for insolence.
of 14: Thankfully, the bottle wasn't opened before the pirate was shot, so it still has some rum in it.
of 14: Disassemble the bottle in inventory to get its cork out, then talk to Morgan and give him the rum.
of 14: Now use the forceps on his leg to remove the bullet.
of 14: After that, he'll tell you that Yellow Dog, who was sent to check out the western part of the island, has the key.
