The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal Hints

Tip: Bols Indalen and Custom Armor

  • 1 of 10: You'll find Bols Indalen in the Craftsmen's Hall in Godsreach.
  • 2 of 10: Ask him about "custom armor" and then any particular kind of custom armor to get a price list.
  • 3 of 10: He'll make custom armor for you if you bring him enough raw ingredients, which include raw ebony, raw glass, and raw adamantium.
  • 4 of 10: Raw ebony and glass can be found in lots of places on Vvardenfell, especially in the ebony and glass mines.
  • 5 of 10: As for adamantium, that's a new item for Tribunal, so you can bet that new Tribunal areas are the only ones you're going to be able to find it in.
  • 6 of 10: NOTE: Adamantium armor is medium armor, and fairly good medium armor at that.  However, you can get much better medium armor by killing one of the Royal Guards in the palace.  Just taunt one until he attacks or find one off in a secluded area by himself and kill him.
  • 7 of 10: The ore can only be gotten from ore deposits (large rocks with visible adamantium flecks in them, very similar to rocks that contain ebony ore or raw glass).
  • 8 of 10: Once you've decided on an item you want and have hunted up enough ore and gold, talk to Bols Indalen about that particular armor type to get a list of items to choose from.
  • 9 of 10: Click on the one you want next, and if you have enough pieces of ore and enough gold, Indalen will take them and say to come back in 24 hours.
  • 10 of 10: When you do, talk to him about that type of armor again to get your armor piece.
